Big Sean shows up on the newly unveiled cover of XXL magazine's Spring 2016 issue behind a headline that reads "Big Sean >> Rap Star Status." Sean is the latest "rap star," a title with which XXL will attempt to anoint Sean in its forthcoming cover story, to grace the front of XXL, following Kendrick Lamar's appearance on the Winter 2015 issue. The new Spring issue will hit newsstands on April 19.
The announcement of the new cover comes four days after the release of Sean's surprise joint EP with Jhene Aiko, the self-titled debut that they released as the duo TWENTY88. Did Sean prove his might as a rap star on TWENTY88?
