Fresh off the release of his well-received 4 Eva Is A Mighty Long Time, Big K.R.I.T. has been tapped to team up with producer Terrace Martin for the track "Ready For the Next."
This new cut arrives as the lead single for a new documentary titled 89 Blocks. Set to debut on Fox Sports as part of a new film series on Sunday, November 26, the documentary chronicles the 2016 championship season of the East St. Louis Illinois Flyers football team.
“Being from a smaller city and understanding how you’ve got to overcome negativity when people may not believe in you — the whole story speaks to me,” K.R.I.T. told Billboard of the documentary. “And hopefully, it’ll inspire somebody else who may be in a position where they think they may not have enough to make it.”
