Last summer, Adidas released the Yung-1 to the world in the midst of the dad shoe wave that was ushered in thanks to Kanye West's YEEZY BOOST 700 "Wave Runner". The Yung-1 fits the dad shoe aesthetic thanks to its chunky midsole and funky tooling on the upper. It was a popular shoe upon its release but Adidas hasn't done much with the shoe throughout the Fall and Winter seasons. Now, with the Spring and the Summer on the horizon, it appears as though Adidas is looking to inject some life into the Yung-1 with this new collaboration with Japanese retailer and clothing brand BEAMS.

BEAMS and Adidas are going for a simplistic approach with this new shoe as it comes in all-black. There isn't one bit of color on this shoe, making it incredibly sleek and classic. The all-black design is reminiscent of the Utility Black YEEZY 500 which released in 2018.

There isn't a concrete release date for this shoe just yet, although Sneaker News is reporting that it will be coming out in time for March of this year. These all-black kicks will cost $120 USD and will be perfect for the nice weather.
