Shaunae Miller of the Bahamas was so exhausted at the end of tonight's 400 meter final that she literally dove/collapsed across the finish line as her legs gave out to win the gold medal in dramatic fashion. Miller's time of 49.44 seconds was just barely enough to edge out the U.S.' Allyson Felix who took the silver with a time of 49.51.

Felix's silver medal finish was the seventh Olympic medal of her career, passing Jackie Joyner-Kersee, which makes her the most decorated female athlete in track & field history.

Shit was crazy. You couldn't have scripted it any better unless this was all happening while the stadium was being split in half like when Bane tore up Heinz Field.

It was also beautiful because it fully displayed how hard these athletes are willing to work for their country. A commitment to gold that only Trinidad James could comprehend.

And yes, it also produced some great memes because the internet never sleeps.
