According to Complex, J Balvin and Bad Bunny are set to release a joint album called Oasis. The newly formed duo put rumors to rest, after previously stating that they were unsure if the unnamed projects would ever see light. A Beats 1 interview with Ebro Darden released in May covered some but not all the foreground concerning the album's plausibility. Now that a decision has been rendered we should expect the album in the foreseeable future, but when? That's up for the project managers to decide.

In the Complex cover story, Balvin and Bunny shared part of their plan to break reggaeton (in its evolutionary form) into North American markets. J Balvin and Bad Bunny are by and large the two artists within the genre with the greatest exposure to non-Latin markets. Even Ozuna, whom many considered a close third in popularity, has less appeal outside of Latin-language markets. In fact, he is often the accouterment to a rap-based record "manned" by one of Bunny or J Balvin, although the Colombian is quite melody-layer himself.

Check out the rest of the editorial, where Bad Bunny & J Balvin hearken back to the day they met. This here is the story of the Latin music industry (in collaboration with the US market) creating a  MegaBot made up of shiny loose parts, by way of Puerto Rico, Colombia, and hopefully the World over.
