Kanye West's highly anticipated headlining slot at Glastonbury is still fast approaching, but unfortunately Azealia Banks has been forced to pull out of her performance at the UK Festival.

The rapper released a statement to the Daily Mail, revealing that doctors have forbid her from performing live for the time being.

"Today I was put on vocal rest by my Doctor which is forcing me to cancel Glastonbury," she wrote. "You have no idea how frustrated and sad this makes me because I love the U.K and Glastonbury so much. You have all supported me from the early days and I was really lookin forward to putting on an incredible show for you all, rain or shine! Please know, that as soon as I’m allowed to be on stage again, when I have a full bill of health, I will be back! I hope you understand and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Later on, Banks expressed sadness over the cancelled plans on Twitter, calling for weed, the Nicki Minaj-endorsed Myx Moscato, and a copy of Lil Kim's sophomore album (which celebrates its 15th anniversary today). It's not performing at Glastonbury, but it's a decent alternative.
