After giving us a series of remixes with his Enough Of You Remix EP, Azad now has his sights set on another EP, titled A Very Emotional EP, and it's due out at the end of October. The Mind of a Genius VP (MOAG are responsible for r'n'b duo THEY., so get familiar) leads the way with the premiere of a new single, "Sweet," produced by Hucci.
Hucci has developed quite the loyal following on Soundcloud, thanks to his creative and refreshing production, which sometimes flips rap records or interpolates them with an electronic vibe. However we haven't seen him work directly with too many rappers yet, but it's definitely a direction he could be headed in.
Hucci cooks up some hard-hitting production for Azad, that still contains a touch of his electronic influence with beeping noises sided by deep bass. However the Missy Elliott sample definitely keeps it grounded in hip-hop. Azad gets braggadocio on us, claiming, "the coldest spitta, I belong in the '90s and shit"-- do you agree?
