Over 25 years in the rap game and AZ is still going hard. The Brooklyn-born rapper has been steadily delivering new music and proving that his pen hasn't dulled down. It's been a minute since we heard any music from him, though. Fans have been waiting for a minute, but it looks like he has a lot of things in store for the year. To kick off 2019, AZ flexes his lyrical dexterity on his new track, "It's Time."

AZ is back in action with his latest offering, "It's Time." The rapper brings back that vintage feel on the track, tackling a classic record from Kool G Rap and DJ Polo's 1989 debut album, Road To Riches. Over the beat of "It's A Demo," AZ comes through swinging for a little less than two minutes.

Peep the new track below and keep your eyes peeled for more new music from the legend AZ himself.

Quotable Lyrics
In '03, he got snatched in NC
Case closed, on a chase for pesos
My fate, choose, move as smooth as a Wraith roll
Play slow, but about it, others doubt it
