The duo of Price and Oktane, aka Audio Push, are the leaders of "The Good Vibe Tribe," which was the title of the mixtape they put out last summer. Indeed, the ultra-cool, familial vibes they often relay with their sound are inspired by the chemistry that defined legendary hip-hop acts like the original Tribe -- the one called Quest. Earlier this month, Audio Push linked with their go-to beatman, Hit-Boy, for a tribute to A Tribe Called Quest, "Check the Vibe," which interpolates the group's ATCQ's "Check the Rhime."
In the brand new "Check the Vibe" video, Price and Oktane show just how "on point" they stay at all times, and they also invite their younger selves to join in on the fun. As the kids wander the city dressed in outfits like matching pinstripe suits and Knicks warm-ups, it's hard to tell which of the duos embodies a fresher vibe. Then and now, Audio Push have been on some classic shit.
