Ason is a 17-year-old rapper, born in Mozambique, raised in Mclean, Virginia, but currently based in Capetown, South Africa. Unsurprisingly, he has a variety of influences, but all in all, his music sounds most akin to the experimental post-Raider Klan works of rappers like Denzel Curry. With a flow somewhat rooted in Lord Infamous' faous triplet delivery, Ason maneuvers through a hypnotic instrumentals, bolstered by some noisy drums on "SAMAHDI". Some subtle vocal manipulation adds to the mood, making for an assured final product, that bodes well for the rest of the young emcee's career.
