Packer Shoes has teamed up with Asics on their Gel Lyte V silhouette for a special edition collab that is inspired by the legendary Gore-Tex jacket worn by George Costanza during Seinfeld's "Dinner Party" episode.
In fact, this Packer Shoes x Asics Gel Lyte V collab has been dubbed "Scary Cold" which is of course a reference to how the Seinfeld crew described the harsh weather during that episode.
Adding to the Seinfeld theme, Packer will be releasing 50 pairs of the "Scary Cold" Asics Gel Lyte V along with a special edition dust bag at Tom’s Restaurant in the Upper West Side, which served as Monk’s Cafe on Seinfeld. Additionally, those who purchase a pair will get a complimentary breakfast from the diner.
The entire “Scary Cold” Collection, including the New Era hat shown in the gallery, will receive a wider release on Saturday, January 28th at 12pm at Pack Shoes' Teaneck and Jersey City locations, as well as online.
