The annual Oscar's took place last night in Los Angeles and among the celebratory moments, beautiful dresses, suits and inspirational speeches was one cringe-worthy moment. Model Ashley Graham was on the red carpet asking lots of celebrities questions about the big night and when Lisa Bonet and her husband Jason Momoa arrived things got awkward.
Ashley asked Jason to do the traditional Maori dance, something the actor did at the premiere of Aquaman as a thank you to New Zealand and the culture that was featured in the DC film. Before Jason could bust out a move, Lisa shook her head and said no.

Of course, Twitter picked up on Lisa's reaction and had a field day making memes about the run in. "Oh wow I didn’t expect this from Ashley Graham... she SHOULD know," one user wrote, while another added: "That is....horrible. Why do white people always want poc to *perform* their culture for them as entertainment? It's gross."
