Ashanti is feeling herself and we aren't even mad at her. The R&B songstress has been enjoying the beachfront weather in the Caribbean and sharing bikini-clad, thirst trap photos on Instagram. She recently celebrated the Carnival Festival in Trinidad and Tobago, performing onstage with Machel Montano to a high-energy crowd that showed her nothing but love. It was reportedly the first time Ashanti was on the island for the party and by the looks of the photos she shared on social media, she couldn't get enough of the soca life

Carnival may be over, but that doesn't mean that Ashanti is quite finished enjoying her vacation. She recently posted a series of photos of herself on Maracas Beach in Trinidad wearing a hot pink bikini, showing off that Summer body in the turn of Spring. The former first lady of Murder Inc. is getting all of the R&R she can before she completes her tour dates with Ja Rule, as they have five more shows in California, Connecticut, Georgia, Canada, and Belgium.

Fans are hoping that once this tour wraps, Ashanti will finally drop some new music. She told Forbes back in December 2018 that she's been mixing up something nice in the studio with collaboration with some hip hop heavy hitters. "When it comes to my music, I cannot wait for people to hear my new project," she said. "Metro Boomin and I are putting something special together. On top of that, I'm working with Tory Lanez, Swae, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, Jeremih, Wiz Kid along with a few more surprises."
