A$AP Bari and A$AP Rocky's streetwear brand VLONE collaborated with NikeLab to craft a special edition Air Force 1 Low towards the end of 2016 which was released exclusively at ComplexCon.
A handful of the VLONE x AF1 sneakers that released quickly ended up on eBay, selling for thousands of dollars.
In an interview with Complex A$AP Bari said of the AF1 collab:
"This sneaker might be wack to people, it might be amazing to others, it might be the most powerful sneaker in 10 years," said ASAP Bari. "You don’t know where it’s going to lead to. I don’t like to predict myself, I just like to sit back and relax and see where this is at in 10 years. People might say, '10 years ago, that sneaker was actually dope. The leather was on point. I can still wear those today, the leather doesn’t crease.'"
If you missed out the first time around, the black and orange Air Force 1 Lows will reportedly be releasing again next Thursday, February 9th.
Of course, we anticipate this being another limited drop but we'll keep you posted as soon as more information such as pricing and store locations are announced.
