A$AP Rocky and Southside were spotted in the studio working on a new track.
Every New York fan is waiting in anxiety over A$AP Rocky's next project. The Harlem emcee holds the fort in the Big Apple, coming off the well-received collaboration mixtape Cozy Tapes Vol. 1 and scoring a major gig as the new face of Dior. Southside, one half of production team 808 Mafia, posted a video on Instagram of Pretty Flacko ballin' on the mic.
"I was Martin Luther King, all I had was dreams, and a muthafuckin penny in a pocket full of lint, sippin' on the Henny and I couldn't pay the rent," he spits in the short snippet.
"Somebody tell this nigga rocky [sic] his flow is amazing," Southside posted in the caption. He also posted a photo of the two working in the studio with the hashtag "808mafia."
We've already heard snippets of "Please Don't Touch My Raf," an almost certain banger featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, Playboi Carti and A$AP Ferg. So it's cool to find out that Jodye is leaving no stone unturned for his next project: he's reaching out to the best in the game right at the moment. No word yet on whether this crazy verse will go on Cozy Tapes Vol. 2 or a future solo LP.
