Cozy Boys, the crew affiliated with A$AP Yams (RIP) and the Mob, come through with the release of a new record from A$AP Nast. The Mob member hasn't released as much music as his counterparts like Rocky and Ferg-- in fact, it appears the last time we heard from the New Yorker was with Rocky on a remix of Madeintyo's "I Want" back in November. It's about time.
On "Playa Hater," produced by FNZ, Nast explores different melodies over lullaby-like production-- nothing so far off from what is popping off on Soundcloud these days. Nast relies heavily on a minimal lyrics: "I'ma playa hater," which may either make it incessantly catchy or annoying, or both. Whatever you might think of it, Nast evidently doesn't care, taking to twitter to write: "IM JUST PUTTING OUT MUSIC FUCK IT LIKE IT LOVE IT HATE IT WHO CARES I MIGHT JUST DROP MORE TOMORROW !" We're ready.
