A$AP Ferg's been continuously bringing his career onto higher levels with every move he makes. This past summer, he dropped off his dope new project Still Striving along with the A$AP Mob's Cozy Tapes Vol 2. The rapper has also been working on collaborations with Adidas as well as his own "Trap Lord" brand. He recently popped by the TRL studios to chop it up with the hosts and bless the audience with a live performance of his fire single "Plain Jane."

A$AP Ferg popped by the TRL studios last night. He's one of the many hip hop acts that TRL has been bringing on the show. During Ferg's appearance, he popped by to chop it up about a few topics, including his aspirations to work with Kid Cudi. They've met a few times but Ferg wants to create art with the Cleveland rapper.

"I met Cudi like two times, he's pretty cool with the team. I would love to work with him, I love his album," Ferg said.

He also chopped it up about why he dabbles with various art forms.

"It's just everything I love to do. I get bored quick," he said, "Experimenting and having fun with everything I'm into."

Before taking the stage to deliver an electrifying performance of "Plain Jane," he and DC Young Fly had a freestyle battle of sorts. The two of them played a game of "Instant Hit" where a word or a topic pops up on the screen and they have to freestyle about it. Among the subjects Ferg rapped about were hairy toes, elephants and pineapple pizza. It wasn't the greatest freestyle but it was entertaining to see him go off the dome about some random topics.

Aside from his appearance on TRL, Ferg's been keeping busy. Most recently, he popped up at the TIDAL X Brooklyn benefit show last week where he performed "Plain Jane" and "New Level." He's also gearing up to perform at Spotify's RapCaviar showcase with the Mob as well as The Diplomats. The show is set to take place at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, Tuesday, November 21. Grab your tickets, it's definitely a show you don't want to miss.
