For some, it's never too early to get the Christmas music bumpin', and others it's always too soon. Ariana Grande seems to be planted firmly in the former category, as she's released her own Xmas track just before Thanksgiving, which tends to be the agreed cutoff.
Luckily, rather than phone in a version of a traditional carol, Grande has given us an original cut that fits right in with her revisionist R&B-meets-teen pop style, an approach she executes pretty flawlessly. It's hard not to draw parallels to the Christmas records of Mariah Carey, an artist whose influence Ariana has been vocal about (no pun intended).
