It's been a rough year for Ariana Grande. The pop star has had to deal with the passing of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, which she has been absolutely devastated by. On top of that, she was part of a highly public relationship with comedian Pete Davidson before that turned to dust as they called off their engagement shortly after he popped the question. Grande has been making headlines for her new song "thank u, next," which comments on a good number of her famous ex-boyfriends. Mac, Pete, Big Sean, and others get shouted out in the track. She is also preparing a new album of the same name. Fans speculated that it may be dropping tonight but the singer was quick to halt the rumors, saying that she was still working on it.
"I've seen rumors that it’s coming friday but it’s not yet," tweeted Ari. "We still finishing things up." With the project still being worked on, a date has likely not been set for its release. She has said that music is helping her cope with all the trauma she's gone through this year, acting as a nice distraction.
