Ariana Grande and her fiance Pete Davidson skipped out on this year's Emmy Awards. Davidson, a regular on Saturday Night Live, would have been among his peers as a comedian. He chose his partner's health over the celebratory event. The couple decided to lay low for the evening due to Grande's emotional state.
The actor is being supportive in what is being described as a very trying time for Ariana Grande, according to her team.
"Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend. She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding."
Ariana Grande has indeed gone through a lot recently. Although the singer was excited about the release of her new studio album Sweetener, her joy was overcast by the loss of a dear friend. Ariana went into mourning when her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller passed away. She also had to deal with some of his following's negative comments towards her. She was blamed for the death of someone she cared about dearly.
She had also been hit with severe anxiety following the bombing of her show in Manchester.
