One of Hollywood's biggest power couples is reportedly on the outs, as TMZ has just reported that Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.
According to the report, Jolie became "extremely upset" with the way Pitt was parenting their six children. Initially, it appeared that there wasn't any "third person" involved that caused the split- just a difference in parenting methods. However, the NY Post says otherwise.
“He’s in the throes of some insane midlife crisis, and Angie is fed up,’’ the source said. “She hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was. And that was the final straw.” Pitt, 52, had been rumored to have been cozying up to his “Allied’’ co-star Marion Cotillard, 40, for months during the pair’s filming of the World War II drama in London.
Jolie cited irreconcilable differences in the legal documents and is also asking for physical custody, as opposed to legal custody, of their kids.
The duo tied the knot a little over two years ago but have been dating since 2004.
