Now that 2018 is coming to an end, many people are reviewing the trials and victories they have experienced this past year. As we head into another era, Angela Simmons recalls the most heartbreaking event that took a toll on her family. The socialite posted some of the insight she gained through introspection following the death of her former lover who was also the father of her child.
Simmons shared a touching picture with a note, in tribute to Sutton Joseph Tennyson.
"As this year comes to a close ... I reflect on the most difficult hurdle I’ve ever had to face. And it’s losing my son’s father . To know that you are with us in spirit is sometimes just not enough . But as the new year comes in I know that I will do my best carrying Sj with your strength and mine. And now being mommy and daddy to our beautiful son. Thank you for my best gift ever. Sj will forever carry your name. Rest now . I got us ♥️💪🏽 2019 we are ready ."
Tennyson was found dead in his own home having succumbed to gunshot wounds. Angela had spoken on the tragedy soon after hearing the news:
"Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift. I’m hurting. I’m numb. Thank you for the outpouring of love everyone. I can't believe I’m even saying Rest In Peace Sutton. I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise "
