It looks like Ty Dolla $ign isn't the only one in his family with singing chops. Just like Jhene Aiko's older sister Mila J is making a career for herself in r'n'b, Angel Gold, who happens to be Ty's younger sister, is also introducing herself to the r'n'b world. Today we're happy to premiere her new single "Can We," which is a taste off the upcoming EP she's working on, After Hours.
The sexy and seductive record was inspired by a break-up Angel Gold went through with her boyfriend at the time, as she reminisced on the good times they had together. She says, "'Can We' was created with the producer Trev Case one late night in the studio playing with the 808 sound...I immediately sang my verse and claimed the beat in a room full of rappers looking for tracks. I had no time to write it, I was determined to complete the song that night while I had the chance. Another artist/writer named Knotch came into the session and heard what I was doing and blessed the hook with melodies."
