This week's FIRE EMOJI playlist is less analogous than the last, in which Lil Wayne showed no mercy in the passing lane. This week's proverbial "Weezy" stranglehold is undertaken by Lil Baby & Gunna answered to the promise their "Drip Too Hard" showed a few weeks ago when it was initially included in our weekly mixer. In addition to the lead single, the YSL boys have provided the FIRE EMOJI playlist with two new entries, "Belly" and the Drake-assisted "Never Recover" produced by Tay Keith.

Aside from buzz generated by Drip Harder's release at the tail end of the week, we were also to hear from Anderson. Paak, on the cusp of his Oxnard album drop. "Tints" featuring Kendrick Lamar, a day prior to the Lil Baby-Gunna album, saw the Compton rapper explore his melodic range like he's never done before. For Paak, "Tints" is a welcome addition to his growing midtempo repertoire.

On the peripheries of the bigger names making cut, lie a few entrants worth knowing: Pressa with "420 in London," Sheck Wes on "Gmail," and Joji with "Can't Get Over You."
