Anderson .Paak has said that Yes Lawd!, his forthcoming collaborative album with Knxwledge, is a "masterpiece" and his best work to date. This is somewhat difficult to believe, given that Malibu has arguably held the AOTY torch since all the way back in January. After hearing two songs off Yes Lawd! -- "Lyk Dis," a.k.a. the song that makes a cameo at the end of the "Suede" video, and now "Get Bigger / Do U Luv" -- it appears that .Paak was not lying.
In "Get Bigger," .Paak saucily urges himself and his wife to greater heights. Kxnwledge lays down a buttery bass groove that forms the backbone of a collection of samples suspended in the ether.
