Model and activist Amber Rose is newly in a relationship with Def Jam record executive, Alexander Edwards. Rose has taken to the gram several times in the past week to share her love, becoming the topic of several conversations surrounding promiscuity, and the double standard that women are confronted with when they move from one relationship to another. The SlutWalk founder is not one to hide her feelings, and her latest Instagram post proves that she is not one to hide from her past either.
The aforementioned post depicts Rose and Edwards seated side by side, clad in matching red, black and white athleisure. The two blonds are also sporting thick, black sunglasses making for a trendy pair. Edwards exudes an air of nonchalance while Amber flashes a duck lip. Amber captioned the photograph, "I don't care what none of y’all say, I still Love him," dropping a reference to her famous ex, Kanye West's Jaimie Foxx assisted song, "Gold Digger."
Amber and Kanye seem to have maintained a tense post-breakup relationship with West declaring that he needed to cleanse himself before pursuing his current wife Kim Kardashian after having been with Rose saying, "It's very hard for a woman to wanna be with someone that's with Amber Rose. I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim." During a 2017 appearance on Complex's Everyday Struggle, Rose revealed, “I still have never said anything mean about Kanye. This is after six, seven years of constant bullying from him.” If her latest post suggests anything, it's that Amber is happy in her new relationship and remains truly unbothered by her critics.
