For those just tuning in, Alus is an emerging singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist out of New Jersey. This remix of Chris Brown's "Loyal" is her latest offering, which finds her flipping the script and proving she isn't "one of these basic hoes".

The last we heard of Alus was her late-January EP Alustrious, which was also her first official project. Hosted by DJ Epps, the eight-track project features both original material and covers, including a rendition of Coldplay's "Atlas", which was included on the soundtrack for the recent film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
