The marimba is taking front seat and center on Afrobeats' inspired production. Mrs. Africa, produced by Don Alfonso, follow that chord progression into similar territory.
Allan Kingdom, born in Canada but based in St. Paul, Minnesota, makes an allusion to his African lineage throughout the vocal textures of the song. His parents emigrated by way of Tanzania and South Africa.
Kingdom's Lines came out in April of last year.
