In just a few weeks, veteran producer Statik Selektah will drop his new album, What Goes Around..., which boasts quite a stacked guest list. So stacked, in fact, that an Alex Wiley feature is relegated to bonus material. The Chicago MC guests on "Future Guns," which he just uploaded to SoundCloud.
A short track that only allows Wiley enough time for one verse, "Future Guns" has the air of a spontaneous collaboration, with Wiley unleashing freewheeling vocals over Selektah's lush, jazzy beat. As the MC's vocals somewhat overpower the music on this one, it's possible that this could be an unmastered version, but we'll just have to wait for the release of What Goes Around... to be sure.
