AJ Tracey's solo debut is finally here, 8 months after dropping its lead single "Butterflies," and some 4 years since he made his introductory splash on the scene. After months of deliberation, the jury is out on Tracey on where he stands on the popular front. The Brixton native has a little something in store for all kinds of music lovers.
For starters, Tracey dials in a 3rd "Wifey Anthem" for the grown and sexy crowd, and songs like "Triple S" and "Nothing But Net" with Giggs, for the rough and tumble crowd. You'll notice, none of the 15 songs comprised on "AJ Tracey" incorporate the standard BPM of a Grime stencil. With his eponymously-titled debut, AJ has proven himself to be an intergenerational talent with "transcendent powers."
