Nike is no stranger to turning their infamous commercials into the motif for their shoes. The Beaverton brand is in the midst of doing it right now with their "Have A Nike Day" collection which will see a whole batch of colorful Nike Air releases hit the market. Nike is now letting this philosophy bleed into their subsidiary, Jordan Brand, as a classic Michael Jordan commercial from the early 2000s will serve as the inspiration for a brand new Air Jordan 1 Mid.

This latest colorway of the Jordan 1 Mid is fairly lowkey, as the entire upper is dressed in black leather. From the toe box to the heel, to the overlays, to the Nike Swoosh, everything is pitch black. However, white can be found on the midsole, tongue, and laces which ultimately gives this sneaker a much-needed pop of contrast. As for the commercial tie-in, the catchphrase "Maybe I Destroyed The Game" is written on the tongue. The original commercial can be found in the video below.

There is currently no release date or price associated with this shoe, but we will be sure to bring you updates as soon as they become available. This sneaker is just one more in a seemingly endless cycle of Jordan Brand announcements.
