Adidas has announced their first ever collaboration with Italian menswear brand C.P. Company. Soccer fans overseas have been pairing Adidas sneakers with C.P. company apparel off the field for generations, but now the two have combined for a much anticipated sneaker and apparel capsule collection.
Included in the upcoming Adidas x C.P. Company line are three different colorways of the Adidas Samba, two renditions of the Adidas Kamanda and a black/royal pair of the Adidas Marathon. Each pair features dual branding on the tongue tabs and is built on a plethora of premium materials. Additionally, co-branded apparel will accompany the sneakers, including an adidas “Explorer” jacket, which is an updated take on the famous C.P. Company goggle jacket.
As C.P. Company's founder Massimo Osti’s son Lorenzo puts it, the collection will “let you express outside how you feel inside. This isn’t some marketing operation – it’s a collaboration that pays homage to the loyalty of our fanbase. It couldn’t be more authentic, because the love of the two brands was already there. We just made it official.”
The full capsule collection is set to release August 24th via adidas.com and at select Adidas retailers.
