The signature running shoe is getting festive.
The last week or so has been filled with news of sneaker releases that will coincide with Chinese New Year. Nike has unveiled a whole slew of CNY models, and Adidas is starting to do the same. Today, Adidas released a Chinese New Year sneaker early, in the Adidas UltraBoost 4.0 CNY.
Much like most CNY sneakers, these are black all over with hints of red. The signature primeknit upper is black all-over, with the three-stripe cage on the side taking a red tone. There is also a Chinese New Year-inspired pink pattern on the laces while the insoles further the theme as well.

The sneaker says “Ren Zhe” on the tongue which according to Sneaker News, pays homage to the Chinese artist who is best known for his technique that includes "casting and smelting metal figures."
If you're looking to add these running shoes to your sneaker stash, the Adidas UltraBoost 4.0 "Chinese New Year" is available to purchase from Adidas.com as well as retailers like SSense. These will run you $180 USD.
