Adidas Originals harkens back to the past for their newest collection, as they are reviving their Adicolor franchise for today's shopper. This particular franchise was first introduced in the 1970s, and has been updated with a more modern silhouette in order to leap into a contemporary context and get Adidas fans excited about colour once again.

The collection is rendered in 4 distinct hues that are both eye-popping yet massively appealing. Adidas has updated the classic colour palette of Bluebird, Fairway Green, Scarlett Red and Sun Yellow, to create a fresher and more contemporary set of tones.

The fits and fabrics have undergone a refinement process in order to suit the purchasing habits of the fashion-savvy shopper of today, breathing a new essence of vitality into a vintage phenomenon.

Alongside the vibrant clothing, photographer Charlie Engman and art director David Lane created a monochromatic set matching the updated Adicolor hues for the campaign. Models enact playful poses with spirited facial expressions in order to embody the bold essence of the apparel, giving the images a aura of positivity and enthusiasm.
