Adidas NMD R1

The Adidas NMD R1 continues to get dope new colorways.

Back in 2016, Adidas was on top of the world and slowly inching towards dethroning Jordan Brand for the second biggest sneaker brand in the world. Much of this success was attributed to two reasons: Kanye West and Boost technology. The Adidas UltraBoost was the brand's biggest success although the Adidas NMD R1 was right behind it. The sneaker started off with some limited colorways but eventually became a sneaker store staple that boasts an extensive library.

Adidas continues to give this model new colorways and recently, they released an NMD R1 offering that is reminiscent of Souvenir Jackets or Sukajan, which are popular in Japan. As you can see from the official images, the shoe has a black primeknit upper while a dragon patch is placed on the back heel. Overall, it's a basic colorway but the presence of a graphic certainly helps spruce up the aesthetics.

If you are interested in copping this interesting new model, it is already available in a full size run on adidas.com for $150 USD. Let us know in the comments below what you think of these and whether or not you plan on copping.
