Adidas has announced early release details for the UltraBoost Clima, the first UltraBoost silhouette to feature moisture-wicking Clima yarns in key sweat zones within an open structure Primeknit upper.

While the kicks will be releasing nationwide via Adidas.com on April 13, those traveling to the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 12 and 13 will have a chance to grab a pair a day in advance - in the middle of the Palm Springs desert.

Per Adidas,

"Like the shoe’s triple black silhouette, an Instagramable stark but sleek all-black structure will sit on 100 acres against a mountain landscape off the 10 freeway at Exit 117 (N. Indian Canyon Drive). Providing a respite from soaring temperatures on the road to one of the world’s largest music festivals, fans can stop by to experience the cooling ventilation of Ultraboost Clima and pick up light refreshments and exclusive giveaways such as charcoal lemonade, custom bandanas and other surprises. Two billboards miles away provide reminders and directions."

“adidas has to show up in the right way at the right times, bringing our best and most relevant products and experiences to moments that shape culture,” said Kelly Olmstead, vice president of brand activation at adidas. “We do this in ways that are meaningful by asking how adidas can bring something of value to Coachella and its guests and not looking at what the brand can get out of it.”

The Ultraboost Clima will be available for $200 at the desert Pop Up at 62950 20th Avenue in Palm Springs in three colorways for men (triple black, triple white and grey) and two for women (triple white and grey) in UltraBoost x Clima. The pop up will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT on April 12 and 13.
