Back in 2011, A remix of Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" was released with Childish Gambino, courtesy of Jamie XX. Adele's chart-topping song was already great, but childish made it even better. It seems that since their lyrical mashup, the two have continued to have major respect for each other all these years later.
Gambino dropped off a new song, "This Is America," yesterday that is just as powerful as it is great. The video for the track sees, Bino moving around a warehouse engaging in a riot and gun violence all the while rapping about American racism. Clearly, Adele has watched it - along with the 10-million people who watched it in the first 24 hours - and is completely in awe over the work of the multitalented Gambino.
Taking to Instagram, Adele shared a few photos thanking her friends and family for a great birthday having turned 30 on May 5th. Her party was Titanic-themed and she couldn't help but shout out Childish for his new work in her Instagram caption. "Ps Childish Gambino how the hell do you have time to offer us so much greatness on so many platforms. I adore you x," she said. Check it out below.
