Ace Hood responds to recent instances of police brutality on "Pain".

While generally known for his furious double time flows, Ace Hood also models himself after rappers like Tupac, who always made a point of being a 'man of the people'. The rapper displays his ability to take on this approach on his new song, "Pain" which reflects on Ferguson, Eric Garner, and police brutality in general.

Rather than opting for more delicate production, Ace brings in some hard synthesized brass to help convey the anger in his voice. As much as "Pain" is a eulogy for those wronged by police, it's a call to action for change.

Quotable Lyrics:
Should I be worried to walk out the door
Please do not shoot me
Please do not shoot me, I'm going to the store
My mama be worried
She just expecting for me to come home
The world is too crazy
The reason my daughter gets schooling at home
