Excited about the NFL draft that just went down in Chicago last weekend, Ace Hood decides to come through this morning and share a new song on his soundcloud page fittingly called “1st Round Draft Picks.”
Going in over the Smash David-produced beat, Ace compares himself to a “1st round draft pick” and raps about being the chosen one and a million dollar nigga who made out the basement in the process. He even cleverly uses Birdman’s infamous “respek” line and spits “put some respek on my name/ they throwin' salt on the game" in his second verse. It follows up his latest release "The Type."
