The epic musical journey taken by A Tribe Called Quest began with their 1990 debut album, People’s Instinctive Travels And The Paths of Rhythm. They will commemorate the album's 25th anniversary by reissuing it on November 13.

“I had this album in my head for years before I did it,” Q-Tip said in a press release. “Looking at it overall, to see the thoughts of a 16-year-old gain any kind of acknowledgement makes me feel like I have arrived … But to see it in this incarnation … I’m humbled.”

The reissue was mastered by Bob Power, the engineer from their first three projects, and will feature remixes by artists who were inspired by A Tribe Called Quest.

“This album means a lot,” added member Ali Shaheed Muhammad. “It was the beginning of our careers; the beginning of our imprint; the beginning of seeing life the way we saw it, and being able to put it down in words and music.”

People's Instinctive Travels is a classic, what's your favorite ATCQ album?
