Hip hop lost a real one when Phife Dawg passed away earlier this week at age 45 after a lengthy battle with diabetes. It is only right that we honor Phife Dawg with picking a ATCQ track for this week's #TBT track. It was tough to go wrong here but we chose "Find A Way" off the group's fifth and final album The Love Movement.
Why did we choose "Find A Way"? Perhaps it's the beat -- a vintage morsel of J Dilla production that was further immortalized in 2009 by Miguel Atwood-Ferguson's 40-piece orchestra. We also chose the song because it is a great example of Phife's breezy and reflective lyrical style.
