Warner Bros.' Suicide Squad was hit with a ton of criticism but that isn't going to stop them from producing a spinoff centered around Margot Robbie's character, Harley Quinn.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, there aren't many details regarding the untitled film as of now but it will likely feature other DC heroines." In addition to starring in the Harley Quinn spinoff, Margot will also be serving as the executive producer on the film.
This news comes as part of her new deal first-look deal with Warner Bros., which underlines their renewed effort to focus on female-driven storytelling.
Before Suicide Squad hit theaters it was rumored that a Joker spinoff featuring Jared Leto's character might also be happening as well, though nothing has been confirmed on that front yet.
