A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie cemented himself as one of the leaders of New York City's renaissance with the release of his debut album, The Bigger Artist. The project was a perfect set-up for the highly productive 2018 he just had. The rapper came through with his project, International Artist in the first half of the year before releasing his sophomore album, Hoodie SZN to cap off the year. The project was released on the same day as 21 Savage's I Am > I Was which took a bit of attention away from A Boogie's album. Although it maintained the number two spot on the Billboard 200 for two weeks straight, the project has now landed the #1 spot on the chart.

A Boogie's Hoodie SZN is officially the number one album in the country this week. The rapper's latest project has finally reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. This marks A Boogie's first number one album in his career. Although it took a few weeks to finally land the top spot, the rapper has been pushing the project heavily. Last week, he made his late-night television debut with a performance of "Look Back At It." On top of that, his 6ix9ine collab, "Swervin'" has been making serious waves on streaming platforms.

A Boogie will be hitting the road on the A Boogie Vs. Artist tour which kicks off in Austin, TX on Feb. 24th.
