In keeping with the song's restrained nature, A Boogie's backing band comes through heavy on the atmosphere, holding it down with solid piano groundwork and subtle percussive flourishes. Going without backing track, A Boogie holds it down with some impressive vocals, retaining a respectable sense of integrity that a lazier artist might be able to live without.
