Valdosta State dropout and Atlanta-based singer 6LACK drops his debut album FREE 6LACK tomorrow. After sharing a loose rework of The Weeknd's 2012 single "Wicked Games" earlier this week, he returns this afternoon with "Rules," the second song on the album's tracklist.

Omar Little said that "a man got to have a code." Such a code does not necessarily have to be rigid, or at least it never starts out that way. It is fluid and ever-changing and responsive to trial and error. It takes a person a while to form a firm set of rules by which to live.

Anyway, that's what this 6LACK song is about, in regards to relationships. Check back tomorrow to hear the rest of the album.

Quotable Lyrics

Rule number one and no explaining
Rule number two and no complaining
10,000 hours like it's nothing
I take my hardest times and turn 'em into something
Don't you lie, don't tell me lies, no I don't fuck with that
I tell truth and nothing but it, I'm in love with that
Running through my rules telling you what not to do
Why don't you keep no fake shit and lose your attitude
