Childish Major just released "Woo$ah," his debut project as a vocalist after establishing himself as an innovator in the Atlanta production scene. Always bridging the gap between rapping and singing, Childish approaches murky R&B textures on "I Like You," a Ginuwine-interpolating track from the album. It features guest appearances from both 6LACK and DRAM, the latter having only a very subtle presence in his atmospheric backing vocals. However, in our recent conversation with Childish, he revealed that DRAM came with a lot of ideas for the beat.

"I had the song done already, and this was my first time meeting DRAM," he said. "He came through the studio. This is off of "Cha Cha." We're having a conversation, and then he just raps. He's RAPPING, you know what I'm saying? And I'm not expecting that, cause I'm like ”bro, ‘Cha Cha’ is crazy and you got a crazy-ass singing voice.” But he's in that bitch freestyling over shit I'm playing. Not even recording, just freestyling, having fun."

Apparently, there's a recording of the track with nothing but DRAM bars that could possibly be released at some point. For now, we're cool with this moody slow jam. Read our full interview with Childish here.

Quotable Lyrics:
She say she fucked a n***a to my song
Was tryna get it on me
Catch that feeling
What it feel like
I said pull up on me darl', I'll fuck your brains out
Matter of fact
I'll pick you up like I'm your man now
