6ix9ine's Ex-Manager's Lawyer Wants To Represent Mel Murda: Report

Shotti's lawyer says his client believes there isn't any conflict if he represents Mel Murda.

Tekashi 6ix9ine and other members of the Tr3yway camp are still awaiting trial which is set to begin in September. While 6ix9ine's lawyer is attempting to get his client on bail, one of the rapper's co-defendants is still looking for legal representation, but he might be in luck. Complex reports Scott E. Leemon, the former lawyer for 6ix9ine's ex-manager Kifano "Shotti" Jordan, is seeking the judge's approval to represent Mel Murda a.k.a Mel Matrix in the case.

Scott E. Leemon is looking to represent 6ix9ine's former manager's co-defendant Mel Murda in the ongoing. He requested that the court holds a hearing for his proposal to represent the Dummy Boy rapper's co-defendant. 

"At that hearing, it is my understanding that both Mr. Jordan and [Jamel] Jones will waive any potential conflict as a result of my previous, brief, representation of Mr. Jordan and my new representation of Mr. Jones," said Leemon.

Court documents indicate that Leemon spoke to Shotti about representing Murda in December while Leemon discussed being removed as Shotti's legal representation. Leemon stated that Shotti didn't oppose the idea, but rather, "encouraged" it.

Leemon previously requested to be removed from representing Shotti last month after allegedly not receiving a retainer fee from 6ix9ine's former manager. The unpaid fees date back to Nov. 26th. Shotti has since found new legal representation.
