Bobby Shmurda talks to 6ix9ine from behind bars.
There were speculations that there was beef between Bobby Shmurda and Tekashi 6ix9ine. However, those rumors were officially cleared up two weeks ago when Tekashi 6ix9ine released his new single, "STOOPID" which features a verse from Shmurda. The song debuted at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Bobby Shmurda's first charting single since 2014. Although the rapper is behind bars, Tekashi 6ix9ine gave Shmurda a ring to congratulate him on charting on the Hot 100.
Tekashi 6ix9ine took to Instagram to share a clip of himself talking to Bobby Shmurda over the phone. The rainbow-haired rapper congratulated Shmurda on their single "STOOPID" debuting at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. The two of them announced plans to take over the world once Bobby's free, but 6ix9ine gave Shmurda a moment to send a message to his fans.
"Regular shit. Gang gang. Wolf pack. We'll be home in two years, 2020. Get ready for the mixtape," Shmurda said over the phone.
From what you could hear, Shmurda sounds like he's in good spirits and keeping his head high while he's behind bars. We're excited to see what he has up his sleeves once he's out in 2020.
Shmurda cleared up any rumors of beef with Tekashi 6ix9ine during a phone interview in July. The rapper said that he finds 6ix9ine entertaining and that any rumors of the two having beef were false.
