In a recent interview, Fif shares words he gave Dr. Dre concerning his much-delayed album "Detox," and explains why he thinks Dre has delayed it for so long.
In an interview with WGCIâs The Morning Riot 50 Cent talked about Dr. Dre's infamous album Detox and shared his opinion on why it's taking Dre so long to finish it.
Fif said, "He been working on that project for so long that he falls in love with music, and then he falls out of love with it. Heâs got a lot of good stuff playing in the studio and it comes in and out, plus that."
50 also shared what he told Dr. Dre about the album, saying that he doesn't have to keep changing it up, because even if it's remotely similar to The Chronic, fans will love it.
"You know what I said to him? I said, you donât have to change anything. Because the period of time you havenât put out.. Like Sade, it reminds me of the record that Iâd like from him. And Iâm like, yeah, play that, thatâs the new one. And it feels like the last one. So Dre, he doesnât have to create a formula because he was gone so long that if he gives us something that feels like The Chronic, weâd be absolutely happy."
