50 Cent is taking shots at Ebro on Instagram after the HOT 97 host apparently blamed him for the lamentable state of New York rap.
Another day, another new sparring partner for 50 Cent. Earlier today, 50 put up an Instagram post in which he called out HOT 97 radio host Ebro Darden for allegedly blaming him for the downfall of New York rap.
Ebro caught wind of 50's Instagram while he was on the air at HOT 97, and he explained 50's remarks: "He wanted to throw up a conversation on his Instagram about how I said his beef with Ja, and that whole thing, divided New York in a way that crippled New York forever."
It's unclear when Ebro first made the above comments, but he revealed today that he has explained his reasoning "face to face" with 50. Watch his on-air response below, via clips shared by The Shade Room.
Of course, 50 got back on Instagram immediately after Ebro's response, and he told the radio personality that he "wouldn't know a hit if it hit your ass in the head."
I saw your response, truth is you wouldn't know a hit,if it hit your ass in the head. Radio is all messed up, New artist have to break on line. I know you can't see it but you don't mean shit anymore. Buy the time you support records there already working fool. Name one new Artist or song out of New York you broke. Lol you should be ashamed of your self. #EFFENVODKA
Ebro then responded via his own Instagram by writing, "that's not what your team tells me when they ask us to play your music."
@50cent that's not what your team tells me when they ask us to play your music..... Same way your music broke in the streets, then radio. Is the same way the internet works now. Don't worry I'll still let the team here shout ya Vodka too! Come by soon... #effenvodka #blameebro @blameebro Oh and thanks for the promo.
The G-Unit boss also took the time to show love to his favorite New York radio host, DJ Envy.
